Snoop Dogg was in the studio with Swizz Beatz last night and after wrapping their session, Tha Doggfather announced that his next album will be the sequel to his debut masterpiece, Doggystyle, aptly named “Doggystyle 2″. No official dates of release yet.
Can Snoop really revive his “gangstalicious” former persona? We shall see…I’m definitely intrigued!
Guess who’s officially back? Fantasia! Yes, indeed. Despite all the drama and more drama Fantasia is # 1 on the Billboard R&B Albums Chart. And, #2 for Free Yourself and Bitter Sweet did hold the # 1 spot on the hot 200 chart too. I guess all the negative publicity paid off huh?! I haven’t purchased the CD as of yet. But, I did listen to it a month a so before it came out. Her reality show debuts soon as well. I’ll keep you posted. That is all. Please carry on.
I already knew Drake was going to do well. It’s official and he has the #1 album on the Billboard charts. Selling nearly 450,000 units within the first week. According to reports his CD is listed as being 3rd for the year with impressive numbers. With Jay-Z being on that list. Jay sold 650,000 of the Blue Print III. Congrats to Drake because the CD is absolutely FIRE! I love it and have been listening to it all day everyday since it was released. I’m sure Drake is singing-You Can Thank Me Now.
