Spotted this extended trailer at TheYbf.com of Ice Cube’s latest and greatest project, “Are We There Yet?” The sitcom, which debuts this summer, and the commercials are already in heavy rotation during the playoff games. Woot!
The sitcom stars Terry Crews, Essence Atkins, and Keesha Sharp. Of course Ice Cube has a recurring role as he should! So, looking forward to a sitcom after all these reality shows and such!
LeToya dropped the Chai Tea in her debut column for Honeymag.com. I thought the article was absolutely fabulous in addition to taking us on a short journey of her life over the past ten years. She writes openly about Destiny’s Child and the so public break up. And, her plan on dating at present and how the media can blow up something so innocent.
There was a time after Destiny’s Child broke up, when I was out of the spotlight. I was trying to figure out what to do. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to do music again — be in a group or go solo. Actually, the thought of going solo was very scary to me. I didn’t think I could do it and would get mad when people told me I should record an album by myself.
I wasn’t upset about losing a chance to go to the Grammy’s or any celebrity perks. It was the loss of the friendship that was difficult. That was the hardest part of the separation. These girls [Beyonce, Kelly Rowland, LaTavia Roberson] were my friends from elementary school. We went to church together, we hung out together.
To go from that to sitting across from each other in a courtroom and going through all that law stuff, was just crazy. You just kind of look at each other differently. That’s when I realized that the friendship had died. Figuring out how we were going to split assets and profits and all of that felt like a divorce. Right after the break up, I went to stay with my friend in Atlanta who had me in church Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. I was developing my relationship with God. It helped me understand that I didn’t create my path. I wasn’t stressing, I wasn’t worrying. I was just praying and letting Him reveal what he had for me.
Per Us Magazine via Omg.yahoonews.com Kate’s new book,I Just Want You To Know, isn’t selling the way the major publishing machines would have wanted and or anticipated. My bling sources have shared the Chai Tea with me and informed that many celebrities turned part time authors aren’t doing the numbers expected. Womp! Womp! I don’t think Kate really really is stressed out about her book not selling and neither was Nene Leakes when hers bombed. If the powers at be knew like I knew they would send Kate out on a very elite tour. If she showed up and signed some books I guarantee you her numbers would soar. Going to a book store once a week won’t get her the results they are looking for. Next.
Kate Gosselin’s latest book isn’t exactly flying off the shelves.
Since its April 13 release, “I Just Want You to Know: Letters to My Kids on Love, Faith, and Family” has sold just 10,084 copies, according to national book sales tracker Bookscan. The non-fiction title debuted at #11 on the New York Times’ non fiction bestseller list, and at #103 on USA Today’s bestsellers chart. By Thursday afternoon, its Amazon.com rank was #862.
This is in spite of Gosselin’s relentless promotion of the tome on TV and radio — plus her ubiquitous presence on Dancing with the Stars prior to her ouster last week.
Here we go once a again….Ummm hmmm I was trying my hardest not to do another post on our reality TV Divas this week but…Per Theybf.com and Blacksportsonline.com Gloria’s soon to be husband is very upset with the end results of Basketball Wives. Womp! Womp!
I guess he has been living under a bootleg rock to actually believe that the producers would show all the wives in a favorable light.Boy now you know it’s their job to parade folks around like they ain’t got no damn sense otherwise it wouldn’t be ebtertaining and getting the viewership that it does.
You aka Matt say you agreed to do the show because it’s what Gloria wanted. Well boo pat yourself on the back and sit down somewhere because honestly no one really cares if you like it or not. And, of course your team mates aren’t going to like it. What NBA player would?! Peep the audio after the jump:) *Kanye* shrug!
